Doors are open at Art Paris 2025. The fair makes its triumphant return to the newly renovated Grand Palais, solidifying its status as the premier spring event for modern and contemporary art. This 27th edition hosts 170 exhibitors from 25 countries, marking a significant increase from previous years and showcasing the fair’s expanding global reach.
Art Paris 2025 continues its tradition of blending regional charm with international flair. Approximately 60% of the exhibitors hail from France, while the remaining 40% represent galleries from around the world.
Notably, 36% of the participants are newcomers to the fair, underscoring Art Paris’s commitment to fresh perspectives and emerging talent. Esteemed galleries such as Mennour, Semiose, and Christian Berst join regular exhibitors like Continua, Lelong & Co. and Templon, enriching the fair’s dynamic landscape.
The 2025 edition delves into two compelling themes:
Immortal: A Focus on Figurative Painting in France
Curated by writer and independent curator Amélie Adamo alongside Numa Hambursin, general director of MO.CO. Montpellier Contemporain. This segment presents a selection of thirty artists from exhibiting galleries and offers a nuanced analysis that considers historical contexts and intergenerational dialogues.
Out of Bounds
Curated by independent exhibition curator Simon Lamunière. This theme features works by eighteen international artists and explores contemporary creation through the lenses of multiethnicity and cultural hybridization.
In addition, a series of four panel discussions will delve deeper into the themes of the fair, providing platforms for critical dialogue and exchange. Not to miss is the Promises sector, which is dedicated to young galleries and emerging artists. This sector has expanded to include over twenty galleries, reflecting Art Paris’s dedication to nurturing new talent.
Art Paris 2025 is an enriching experience celebrating artistic diversity and innovation. With its return to the iconic Grand Palais, the fair not only honors its rich history but also embraces the future of contemporary art.
For collectors, art connoisseurs and curious newcomers alike, Art Paris 2025 offers a captivating journey into the evolving world of modern and contemporary art.
